The 19th Weifang International Kite Festival will be held on April 20th,2002 in weifang city.

1.The open ceremonial .
The open ceremonial of the 19th Weifang International Kite Festival will begin at 7:30pm on April 20th,2002 in the Weifang palaestra .The soiree of the open ceremonial will be undertook by the Shandong Qingzhou Ynmen alcohol group.

2.The kite-fling compete
The people no matter in or out of the country(border) will be invited to this international kite compete. It is 110 kite-fling team, about 900 people. The compete willbe held from April 20th to 22th,2002 in the Fuyanshan fling suqare.
The Weifang kite compete will be held from April 21th to May 1,2002 on the city square and the Fuyanshan fling suqare. There are 72 kite-fling teams will attend this compete.
The ten thousand people kite-fling perform activity will be held on April 21th ,2002 on the Fuyanshan fling suqare.
The crowd free fling is separately arranged in the Bailanghe park, the gym park, the Juli park, the city department colligate office block square and some other suited places such as the playgrounds in the universities.

3.The moving jamboree activity
The moving jamboree activity will be held at 9:00a.m. on the April 20th,2002.The leaders, the special customers,the impersonators, the kite fliers no matter in or out of the country(border), the relative branches, units, corporations, academies and the citizens will attend this activity. The decorations on the both sides on the way must propagandize the kite city visualize .At the same time, it must can propagandizine the corporations. The route of the jamboree starts from the kite museum, by the way of gym park, the Shengli ave, the Heping road, the Dongfeng ave, the Siping road ,then by the Shengli ave and back to the gym park.

4.The beacon evening.
The beacon evening will be held at 8:00pm on the April 21th,2002 in the city palaestra .The evening will be undertook by the Zhucheng Feilong firework factory.The firework will mainly be the traditional mid or low level. At the same time, the foreign upper air firework also have been imported. In order to insure the safty of the locale ,all the firework setting-off will all be arranged on the east stand. The high-tech cold firework have been fetched in and developed and the amount is the 50% of all. The prize awarding ceremonial of the international kite compete will be held before the firework evening.

5.The great commonweal perform
The great commonweal perform will be held at the 9:00am on the April 24,2002 on the city department colligate office block square. The activity will be undertook by the Shandong Qingzhou Yunmen alcohol Ltd.

6.The dragon boat compete
The dragon boat compete will be held at 9:00am on the May 1,2002 in the Yuandu lake. The training will begin from April 20th to 30th.This activity will be undertook by the head office of Shandong international transmit group. At the same time of the dragon boat compete, the first class water item perform will also be arranged.

7.The trade activity
1).the 8th Lutai trade negotiation meeting. It will be undertook by the 台办。
2)The 2002 China(Shouguang) International vegetable exposition. It will be undertook by the Shouguang people's government.
3)The Shandong tour keepsake trade meeting and the Changle bijou festival. It will be undertook by the city tour office and the Changle people's government.
4)The linqu strange stone exhibition. It will be undertook by the Linqu people's government.
5)The first Weifang cate festival.

8 The other activities
1) The countrywide fishing inviting compete.
2)The third Shandong cross-country autobike compete.It will be undertook by the Weifang autobike association .
